BLOEMFONTEIN - The prosecution in the asbestos corruption case says it'll prove that Moroadi Cholota - former personal assistant to the former Premier of the Free State Ace Magashule was higher up in the alleged corruption network.
The State alleges Cholota benefited financially from the alleged crime.
She's been extradited from the United States to face fraud, corruption and money laundering charges, linked to the R255m Free State asbestos project.
Cholota was granted R2,500 bail by the Bloemfontein Magistrates Court.
