JOHANNESBURG - The ANC only has itself to blame. That statement coming from the Electoral Court.
It's dismissed the party’s application against the IEC to have the MK Party deregistered.
The court ruled that the ANC failed to explain why it brought its application so late and that the registration of the MK party was above board.
The ANC and the MK Party will duke it out in court again on Wednesday - this time around the name and logo of the newly formed party.

"For all of these reasons, it is reiterated that the DCEO in registering MK complied with Section 15 of the Electoral Commission Act," Judge Lebogang Modiba ruled.
