JOHANNESBURG - Lobby group Afriforum is facing some serious backlash as relations between South Africa and the US continue to sour.
When US President Donald Trump condemned the Expropriation Act, AfriForum and Solidarity traveled to the states to meet with members of his administration.
AfriForum says they were calling for the US to take action against members of the government as opposed to a blanket punishment for the whole of South Africa.
South Africa's ambassador to the US, Ebrahim Rasool, is now heading home after being declared persona non grata after comments against Trump and his policies.
Afriforum chief executive Kallie Kriel shared the lobby group's reaction to latest action taken by the Trump administration against South Africa.
