VBS Saga | Simelane denies having improper relations with the contractor

CAPE TOWN - 'I did not have an improper relationship with the contractor'. 

That's the promise from Justice and Constitutional Development minister, Thembi Simelane.

She is accounting to the Justice Portfolio Committee on allegations against her regarding VBS Mutual Bank.

Simelane also detailed how she took a loan from Gundo Wealth Solutions.

During her time as Mayor of Polokwane, Simelane received a commercial loan worth over five hundred thousand rand.

According to her, the loan was taken to allow her to purchase a coffee shop in Sandton.
