UPDATE | 1 worker rescued in Ballito embankment collapse

DURBAN - Rescuers have managed to extract a patient from under the rubble at a construction site in Ballito, north of Durban.

He was one of the five workers trapped after a sandbank collapsed on them.

Four have been confirmed dead, and medical personnel worked around the clock, to free the last remaining victim, who was transported to hospital for further medical care.
