UDM to join Government of National Unity

JOHANNESBURG - The United Democratic Movement says it will join the Government of National Unity.

The party met with ANC officials on Friday.

The UDM has been part of the Progressive Caucus, which includes parties not part of the GNU.

This includes the EFF and ATM.

The MK party has indicated that will also join the caucus.

One of the suggestions from the UDM is to implement legislation to ensure the smooth running of the GNU.
