Two congregants drown in Joburg river

JOHANNESBURG - Johannesburg Emergency Services is once again appealing to people to refrain from conducting rituals and ceremonies at rivers during the rainy season after two women drowned on Wednesday morning while two others were rescued.

It's alleged that a group of congregants were performing a cleansing ritual when the incident happened.
