MOLOTO - The transport sector is reeling after the torching of Putco buses in a series of attacks Monday night.
The incident left two employees of the bus company were injured, one shot in the leg, and the other suffered a blow to the head.
Mpumalanga police spokesman Colonel Donald Mdluli confirmed that two suspects linked to the arson have been arrested.

Mdluli said they found a mobile phone from one of the suspects which belongs to one of the victims of the fire.
He said they can not rule out the possibility of more arrests in the matter.
Putco spokesperson Lindokuhle Xulu said efforts to replace the buses is underway.
Xulu said they have they have consulted their security provider to beef up security following this incident.
Provincial MECs are set to visit several depots to assess the extent of the damage.
