JOHANNESBURG - The Education Department admits more needs to be done to avoid teen pregnancies.
Minister Angie Motshekga was speaking during a visit to Eqinisweni Secondary School in Ivory Park.
This is where four pupils took their lives in the past two weeks.
But despite the minister saying this, some of the families have denied the pregnancy speculation.

As counselling is offered to the school and families, the SA Depression and Anxiety Group used the same media briefing to raise concerns about their attempts to offer assistance to the school.
The minister says Sadag's concerns will be addressed separately.
Meanwhile, the school governing body admits that even parents miss warning signs from their children.
