JOHANNESBURG - The announcement of the Government of National Unity has been positively received by South Africans.

This is according to the near real-time Happiness Index of the GNH. It shows the happiness levels of South Africans have been on an upward trajectory.
There've also been positive words associated with the GNU announcement such as 'hope' 'happiness' and 'joy'.
Professor Talita Greyling from the University of Johannesburg explains how they came to their findings.
