CAPE TOWN - The Cape Peninsula University of Technology and the University of the Western Cape will hold a vigil for the student that was stabbed multiple times on Saturday.
She was stabbed at a private residence, allegedly by her boyfriend.
Videos of the attack have since been circulating on social media.

The victim is in hospital while the perpetrator has been arrested.
The SA Union of Students is calling for a special police unit to tackle gender-based violence at tertiary institutions.
SAUS spokesperson, Asive Dlanjwa, says statistics show GBV cases at tertiary institutions need serious intervention.
