PRETORIA - Former National Assembly speaker Nosiviwe Mapisa-Nqakula made a brief appearance in court on Tuesday.
Mapisa-Nqakula's corruption case has been moved to the High Court in Pretoria, where she faces 12 counts of corruption, including soliciting bribes to the tune of R4.5-million.
The state is confident it has a watertight case against the former speaker, when proceedings get underway on 16 October 2024.
