PARIS - South Africa secured a historic Olympic Games medal at the Stade de France.
The 4x100 metres relay team made up of Bayanda Walaza, Bradley Nkoana, Shaun Maswanganyi, and anchored by Akani Simbine, claimed silver in Paris.

Just like in the first round, Simbine had to make up a lot of ground to steer South Africa to second place, behind Canada, who took gold, with Great Britain settling for bronze.
