PARLIAMENT - Thursday's joint sitting for the State of the Nation address, will take place under new parliamentary rules.

Since the EFF came onto the political scene and secured seats in the national assembly, Parliamentary addresses by both President Cyril Ramaphosa and his predecessor Jacob Zuma were often disrupted.
With the introduction of the new rules, parliament hopes tonight's proceedings will start on time, and go off without any interruptions.
ANC spokesperson Mahlengi Bengu says parliament needs to return to the right decorum.
