LADYSMITH - Six people have been confirmed dead in Ladysmith in KwaZulu-Natal following a flash flood according to IPSS Search and Rescue.
It is suspected that another eleven people are still missing.
On Christmas Eve, a massive storm hit the Ladysmith area, resulting in a flash flood of the Bell's Spruit and Kliprivier.
Among the flooded areas was the local SPCA and Caravan Park. Several vehicles have also been reportedly washed away.
Ladysmith SAPS K9 Search and IPSS Rescue has worked tirelessly today, recovering the bodies of six people.
