PRETORIA - The SIU has sent criminal referrals to the NPA concerning the Tshwane Rooiwater tender.
The unit has completed the first phase of the investigation into the tender.

Meanwhile, the SIU's Kaizer Kganyago says that the City of Tshwane has been ordered to lift the suspension of five senior officials.
The officials were suspended after being linked to a multi-million rand Rooiwal tender.
The South African Local Government Bargaining Council says the five were unfairly suspended.
