JOHANNESBURG - The Special Investigating Unit (SIU) has obtained a preservation order against Groen Mintirho.
The company is linked to former ANC MP and spokesperson Pule Mabe.
The order prohibits Mabe from selling, leasing, or transferring assets.
These include a house in Steyn City and a luxury vehicle.
It's part of a probe into procurement irregularities involving the Gauteng Department of Agriculture.
It's believed a R27-million tender was awarded to Mabe's company in 2017.
The tender was meant for the supply of tuk-tuks for waste pickers, but the vehicles were never delivered
Mabe and six others are facing charges of fraud, theft, and contravening the Public Finance Management Act.
