CAPE TOWN - Minister, Gayton McKenzie, says white people who are quiet on the genocide misinformation are complicit.
He encouraged them to come out and denounce claims by AfriForum and Solidarity of mass killings, especially farmers in the country.
These claims have been supported by multi-billionaire Elon Musk and later US President Donald Trump.

In February protesters in the Afrikaner community signed a petition which was handed to the US Embassy in Pretoria.
They requested Trump to intervene in policies and laws they claim impacted their livelihood.
These policies included the Land Expropriation and BELA Acts passed by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
Trump responded by halting funding from the USA to South Africa, despite assurances that no land grabs and that the law does not target any specific demographic.

"Trump has a right to do that, it is his money. But he has no right to accuse us of genocide," says McKenzie.
