CAPE TOWN - Western Cape residents are being urged to delay travel as several roads have been closed.
Severe storms are lashing parts of the province causing extensive damage.
Many people are still missing with the weather hampering rescue efforts.
"Please check before going out, I don't want to take any chances or risks. If you can try to delay your travelling then delay your traveling," said Western Cape Premier Alan Winde.
The Weather Service has issued an orange level nine warning for the province.
Western Cape disaster management is on high alert.
