MAHIKENG - The state of municipalities in North West is cause for concern, and needs urgent attention to turn the tide for communities affected by a lack of service delivery.
Some municipalities can't even afford to pay salaries.

And the Tswaing Local Municipality recently shut down for a week, due to squabbles between municipal leaders and the community, over the alleged illegal appointment of the Municipal Manager.
