JOHANNESBURG - Residents and businesses in Johannesburg with outstanding municipal accounts could now face blacklisting.
This as the city takes an aggressive approach to recover billions in debt.

The city's debt exceeds R52-billion and to reduce this, aggressive credit control campaigns have been established.
Nyaniso Jeku from the City of Johannesburg's Finance Department says defaulting residential and business properties will be dealt with by the newly-established Specialised Revenue Collection Team.
