EAST LONDON - Lack of empathy for patients and a disregard for human life.
Those are just some of the harrowing experiences shared by disgruntled patients in the Eastern Cape.
They describe their lives as being unbearable following time spent at some public health facilities.

But Eastern Cape Health says the majority of patients are generally happy with the healthcare provided.
The department has around 50,000 employees who work in the provinces 800 clinics and 90 hospitals.
