JOHANNESBURG - Teacher union Sadtu is threatening a march to the Union Buildings, to demand the signing of the Bela Bill into law.
The contentious Bill remains in the president’s in-tray to this day, still awaiting his signature.
Basic Education Minister Siviwe Gwarube has pleaded with President Cyril Ramaphosa, to send it back to Parliament.

In May this year, Parliament finally passed the BELA Bill after years of chopping and changing.
The Bill aims to amend the Schools Act and the Employment of Educators Act.
