BOKSBURG - The South African Communist Party will contest the 2026 elections.
This is as its 5th Special National Congress gets underway in Boksburg.
The four-day gathering comes when the relationship between the SACP and its alliance partner, the ANC is at its lowest ebb.
This is mainly over the inclusion of the DA in the Government of National Unity.
According to the SACP, the DA is representing the interest of neo-liberals.
