SA weather | Yellow level 2 warning still in place for coastal provinces

CAPE TOWN - The yellow level 2 warning issued by the SA Weather Service for coastal provinces remains in place.  

Several regions in the Eastern Cape and KwaZulu-Natal are experiencing turbulent waves and icy conditions.

The conditions could damage coastal infrastructure and disrupt small harbours and ports.

Icy conditions and strong winds are battering parts of the country.

Some areas in the Overberg in the Western Cape experienced power outages due to multiple power line damages.

The freezing weather is set to hit Gauteng from tomorrow.
