CAPE TOWN - Expelled US Ambassador Ebrahim Rasool says he has no ambitions of being redeployed.
He says he stands by the comments that led to him being expelled from the US.
"It was not our choice to come home but we come home with no regrets," he says.

Rasool touched down on home soil after the US declared him persona non grata for criticising President Donald Trump.
Washington described his remarks as obscene and lacking respect.
Rasool says his report to the President is still to be finalised.
He says he will be going to Pretoria on Monday.
