SA Council of Churches hosts National Day of Prayer

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Council of Churches is hosting a national day of prayer in Soweto today in anticipation of the upcoming elections.

This with just over three weeks to go until the 29 May polls.

The event led by IEC Chairperson, Mosotho Moepya, will see participation from political parties, religious leaders and the IEC.

The focus of the day will be on praying for peace, calm and tolerance leading up to, during and after the elections.
