HOWICK, KZN - The DA is offering a reward of R100,000 for any information about the murder of its uMngeni chief whip.
Nhlalayenza Ndlovu died on Tuesday night in a hail of bullets from unknown gunmen.
Umngeni Mayor, Chris Pappas, says Ndlovu had previously reported to him that he had received threats.
The DA has lambasted the KwaZulu-Natal government for not taking action on political killings in the province.
The police say they are investigating Ndlovu's murder.
The DA will be visiting the Ndlovu family on Thursday and the funeral will take place on Sunday.
