DURBAN - A technical error by the eThekwini municipality has resulted in a standoff between the metro and the eThekwini Ratepayers Protest Movement.
The Municipality is demanding that money lost through what it called a technical error be returned.
The error occurred when residents - who initially qualified for six kiloliters of free water - were asked to pay for the water.
But the eThekwini Ratepayers Protest Movement is having none of it and has filed a number of disputes against the municipality.
We spoke to the Movement’s, Asad Gaffar.
