JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa says as the most advanced, diverse economy in sub-Saharan Africa, South Africa has a great deal to offer as an investment destination.
Ramaphosa addressed delegates at a South African investment conference in New York City on Tuesday.
The president said government was working with the business sector to address some challenges facing the economy.
Ramaphosa also said South Africa would use its presidency of the G20 to push for increased investment in Africa as well as other countries in the Global South.
Since the advent of the government of national unity, there has been increased investor interest in South Africa – interest that Ramaphosa says is well-founded.
