PRETORIA- Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgpa says the end of load-shedding is near.
Stage 6 load-shedding was introduced in the early hours of Sunday.
This is after Eskom announced the return of load-shedding on Saturday after over 20 days of no power cuts.
Ramakgopa says they are disappointed and noted the situation which also comes at a time as they continue to eradicate load shedding.

The power utility says the blackouts are due to multiple unit trips at Camden Power Stations.
Ramakgopa says the loss of five generating units at the Majuba power station, and another four units lost at the Candem power station are the reasons for the power cuts.
Despite this, he said they would not deviate from the Generation Recovery Plan and would stay the course.
"There are inherent risks and we are doing everything possible to mitigate those inherent risks but we are moving in the right direction.
"The level of planned maintenance will continue and be maintained at acceptable proportions. [This] to helps us to get to a point where we can eliminate load-shedding in the shortest possible space of time," he said.
