JOHANNESBURG - The National Consumer Commission says it's closely following the recalling of three Pick n Pay peanut butter brands.
No Name Smooth Peanut Butter, Eden Smooth Peanut Butter and Eden Crunch Peanut Butter have been taken off the shelves for health reasons.
An in-house standard testing found higher than regulated levels of Aflatoxin, usually found in agricultural products.
"What we are doing right now is we are informing consumers to return the products to the point of sale for a refund," said the Commission's Prudence Moilwa.
