Pretoria Girls principal suspended over racist Whatsapp group

JOHANNESBURG - The principal of Pretoria Girls High School has been suspended.

That is after an alleged racist Whatsapp group was created by white pupils where they mocked their black counterparts.

Of the 12 pupils who were suspended in the aftermath, eight of them are prefects.

Gauteng Education MEC, Matome Chiloane, says it should take about three months for the department to conclude the investigation into the matter.
