Police to be deployed in high-crime areas

SEBOKENG - Police minister Bheki Cele is urging officers to curb violent crime this festive season.

Cele says it may be a time of rest for most but criminals are even harder at work.

The minister was speaking at the Festive Season Inspection Roadshow on Tuesday.

It's aimed at tackling crime at businesses, leisure and entertainment areas.
