ULUNDI - Mourners gathered on Saturday for the state funeral of Zulu prince Mangosuthu Buthelezi.

They paid tribute to the founder of the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), who died a week ago aged 95.

Chief Justice Raymond Zondo says Buthelezi stood for what was right irrespective of personalities.

The IFP founder even stood up for former Presidents Thabo Mbeki and Jacob Zuma.
