Over 300 EC pupils rushed to hospital after falling ill at school

EAST LONDON - An investigation is underway after more than 320 learners were rushed to healthcare facilities in the Eastern Cape.

The learners from Kwa-Bhaca High School complained of diarrhoea and vomiting.

Most of the learners were treated at a nearby clinic while three were admitted to hospital.

The education department in the province says they are working together with the health department to determine the cause of the illness.
