MAHIKENG - Acting North West Premier Nono Maloyi says the sluggish economy is giving them sleepless nights.
Maloyi delivered the State of the Province Address in Mahikeng on Tuesday.
The province faces challenges, including a lack of drinkable water and a high unemployment rate.
He says despite the challenges, there is progress.
Added to this, Maloyi says the audit outcomes of municipalities reflect a mixed picture of progress and stagnation in the province.
