NMB mayor says he's not going anywhere

GQEBERHA - Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality Mayor Gary van Niekerk remains defiant. He says he is not going anywhere, despite his own party, the National Alliance, saying he has been expelled as a member, along with another councillor.

It is these kind political moves that have fueled a debate round multi- party coalitions and how they've been detrimental towards achieving good governance, in the country's struggling municipalities.
