PRETORIA - A new witness is expected to take the stand in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial in Pretoria.
Several state witnesses have been called to testify since the trial restarted.
On Friday, the court heard police failed to retrieve deleted data from the cellphones of those in the house.
Experts have been quizzed about which calls could be linked to whom and at what times the calls were placed.
Evidence was led that a phone belonging to accused 5, Fizokuhle Ntuli, called Kelly Khumalo’s number twice before the murder.Meyiwa was shot and killed in 2014 at the Khumalo’s Vosloorus home.
Five men are on trial for the murder.
