New Hawks Divisional Commissioner paid the price for past indiscretions: Lebeya

JOHANNESBURG - Hawks head, Godfrey Lebeya says Major General Patrick Mbotho has already paid for his mistakes.

This follows his promotion to Divisional Commissioner for national priority offences at the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation.

Mbotho was accused of sending explicit messages on a police Whatsapp group in 2017.

This is when he was the Western Cape Provincial Commissioner of Detectives.
