JOHANNESBURG - The SA Weather Service is warning residents of Gauteng and Mpumalanga that the storms are expected to continue today. But they're likely to be less intense.

On Monday, hail and heavy rains hit parts of Johannesburg, causing flooding and damage to property.

Social media was flooded with multiple reports of cars and homes being damaged, some quite severely.

Insurance companies will no doubt be inundated with calls today.
