JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa and Water and Sanitation Minister Senzo Mchunu launched a water project in the North West on Friday as part of the Presidential Imbizo District Development Model.

The president is in the province to get an update on commitments made by government when he visited last year.
Mchunu said, "this is a reservoir which will get supply from adjacent infrastructure so that a number of people that don’t have water will have water."
"This is due to finish around May. But we will put pressure on the people who are doing this to bring it closer because we are under pressure.”
