Mbalula: The matter is closed, Zuma is gone

JOHANNESBURG - ANC Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula maintains that former president Jacob Zuma is gone for good.

The ANC has expelled its former president, for backing the MK Party which saw the ANC lose its majority in the May elections.

Zuma has been given 21 days to appeal the decision, while he has labelled his disciplinary hearing a kangaroo court

A three-day ANC NEC meeting is underway in Boksburg.

It's the first time the party's top leadership is meeting since their disappointing showing in the 2024 general elections.
