Mbalula defends GNU and slams those opposing the union

CAPE TOWN - The ANC says it's not fazed by those calling it names over the Government of National Unity. 

The party says those against  the GNU are against a democratic and prosperous country.

During a media briefing in the Mother City, Mbalula emphasised the importance of social employment in creating sustainable livelihoods.

The briefing follows the opening of parliament on Thursday where President Cyril Ramaphosa laid out plans for the country going forward.
