JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng police commissioner Elias Mawela says they have found what they believe to be zama zama headquarters.
Mawela says during a law enforcement operation, firearms and explosives were discovered in the shaft near Riverlea.
There have been running battles in the area.
Police say they have arrested more than 20 zama zamas so far.
