JOHANNESBURG - Struggle stalwart, Mavuso Msimang, has retracted his resignation from the African National Congress.
This after a meeting between him and the party's Secretary-General Fikile Mbalula.
The pair locked horns this week, after comments made by Mbalula at a rally over the weekend.
The ANC SG said Msimang and some other party members were being bribed to resign.
Mbalula has since apologised for his comments. In a letter announcing his resignation, Msimang cited among other issues, the party’s inability to effectively deal with corrupt individuals.
