Mass memorial service held for victims
GEORGE - Calls are growing for investigations to be concluded in the George building collapse so that bereaved families can begin the process of healing and seeking closure.
A mass memorial service was held in George in honor of those who perished. Thirty-four people died and several others are still being treated in hospital.

Some of the dead are foreign nationals and their remains need to be repatriated to their countries of origin.
They come from Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi, Lesotho and Mozambique.
