JOHANNESBURG - President Cyril Ramaphosa and Deputy President Paul Mashatile's security detail will be beefed up.
This follows a shooting incident involving Mashatile's convoy which is being investigated by the police.
It's more than a year and a half before the ANC meets to elect new leaders, but deputy president looks like a man on the campaign trail.

Some supporters from the ANC Greater Johannesburg Region have endorsed him to be the next ANC president.
On Tuesday, Mashatile was in Soweto to honour freedom fighters killed by police in July 1987.
