JOHANNESBURG - Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi says only one party should get the mandate to run the province.
He says a coalition government will lead to chaos and confusion.
A record number of political parties will take part in the 29 May polls.

From the 19 that contested the first democratic election in 1994, over 200 political parties are now registered.
"What we need is a stable government, wat we need is one political party that is given a mandate to run government," he said.
"If you have a conglomerate of many governments or many political parties running government it's really creating chaos."
