KZN police eye city of Durban surveillance cameras

DURBAN - KZN police are looking at taking over the CCTV camera network in Durban.

They are currently being controlled by Disaster Management.

Provincial commissioner, Nhlanhla Mkhwanazi, says this will allow them to respond quicker to crimes.

He was speaking to our reporter, Dasen Thathiah, during a special crime prevention operation in the city centre.

Police nabbed over a-hundred-and-20 undocumented foreign nationals on Point Road.
